Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine are very excited to welcome the extremely talented and absolutely wonderful Julie Baez to the Coming Up Short podcast. Not only does this episode feature a recap of Jon and Eric’s exciting week, but the three really get into the heart of how hard it is to keep your comedy and friends separate. 
Eric’s fresh off his first hosting gig at the West Palm Beach Improv, while Jon has taken over Marina 84 on Tuesday Nights. Those items, along with Julie’s start in standup comedy, what it’s like to juggle a family, a career and a dream and what it’s like to be the ‘funny one’ in your social group.

Episode number 33 is a big one for the Coming Up Short podcast as Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome on the self-anointed geek queen of South Florida comedy, May Durand! In fact, we were lucky to get her on as a guest as she’s got a million things going on including writing two sitcoms. The three also discuss May’s comedic beginnings, the usage of the word ‘tape’ when referencing a recording, and some local comedy contests that really shouldn’t use the word contest in their name.

It’s our first foursome on the Coming Up Short podcast! Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome into the Chula Vista studios Minda Mo and Dan Long. This will mark the first time in the show’s history that four people are on at the same time. Not only that, but Dan is also the tallest person that we’ve had so far on the podcast.
There’s lots to talk about when these four get on the mics. Starting with each of their personal histories of how they got into comedy, where they want to take it, and their different styles of how many people they bring to a show.
